Everett police Sgt Robert Goetz said that once a person is booked into jail, a clock starts ticking for prosecutors. Investigators feared jailing the woman immediately may have meant that her blood alcohol levels would not be available quickly, he said.

Problems with Skagit County DUI cases

If you have been charged with a DUI in Skagit County, or any of the neighboring counties such as Snohomish or Island County, then you are aware that you a simply a case number or a file to a prosecuting attorney.  While it is true that DUI cases depend on legal defenses most of the time do not under estimate the power of communicating to the prosecutor who you are.  It is important to humanize the defendant as this could be a pursuasive factor in the outcome of a case.
