Claim to Fame: American Idol contestant in 2011

Facts: Stephano was stopped in Bellevue, Washington after he allegedly was observed changing lanes without signaling and speeding. He was arrested after reportedly did not do too well on the field sobriety tests -- one of which required him to recite the alphabet, which is not recognized by anybody as having any validity in DUI detection. While being transported to police station Stephano sang from the back seat of a patrol car as he was taken to the patrol's Bellevue office. His BAC was recorded at 0.094 and 0.088 percent.
Outcome: Stephano ultimately, he pleaded guilty to the lesser misdemeanor charge of first-degree negligent driving. He completed the terms of his sentence including alcohol-information class and community service.
Did You Know? Stephano was the victim of a DUI accident in 2009 and nearly lost his life. On American Idol he stated: "May 28, 2009, my life took a 180-degree turn. I was in an accident that changed my life unfortunately for the worst. I woke up to a firefighter and I'll never forget -- he looked down at me and he screamed to the EMTs, 'He's alive! He's alive!'" said Langone about the accident which reportedly left him with two broken arms, a fractured pelvis and several other injuries.
