Finally there is a City in Snohomish County that has the financial ability and legal nuance to install and utilize cameras in their patrol cars. Starting soon the City of Lynnwood Police Department will have installed cameras in their patrol cars. These videos should be obtainable by your DUI attorney and may help (or hurt) your DUI case in terms of video evidence relating to driving, field sobriety tests, observations of impairment, statements and so on. Importantly this will also assist in determining officer credibility. This will undoubtedly change the DUI landscape (good or bad) in the Lynnwood Municipal Court. Keep checking back for updates.
