Anacortes has another reason to look out for DUI drivers. This past weekend about 700 people attended the first-annual Anacortes Oktoberfest, an event organizers hope will continue in future years. Patrons were able to sample beers from 30 brewers, with dozens of choices. What was not mentioned in the newspapers is the fact that the Anacortes police had extra patrols on due to stop, hook and book DUI drivers.
