DUI suspect abandons car in middle of I-5

A 20-year-old Centralia man abandoned his car in the middle of Interstate 5 and fled after slamming into a pickup and causing it to roll over late Saturday, the Washington State Patrol reports.

The driver, Carmen Victor Rodas-Urias, was later found and taken into custody. WSP is recommending several charges against him, including felony hit-and-run, vehicular assault and DUI.
