Super Bowl Sunday and beer go hand-in-hand. Although it's akin to a national holiday, that doesn't mean fans can take a break from the rules of the road. In Snohomish County, in particular the Cities of Everett, Lynnwood, and Marysville, dozens of city police officers, county sheriffs' deputies and state troopers will out in force following Super Bowl XLV.
"Fans don't let fans drive drunk," said WSP Chief John R. Batiste. "Baseball has the designated hitter. On Super Bowl Sunday we need designated drivers to make sure their fellow fans get home safely."
If you are currently at a Super Bowl party at a home or bar, do not drink then drive because you will become the target of Target Zero. Be safe, be smart.
